Professional Dental Cleaning & Examination

Professional dental cleanings are performed by a Registered Dental Hygienist. Your cleaning appointment will include the following:

• Removal of calculus or tartar
• Removal of plaque
• Teeth polishing

Following your cleaning, your dentist will perform a comprehensive dental exam at your first dental visit. For routine check-up exams, we will perform all of the following:

• Examination of diagnostic x-rays
• Oral cancer screening
• Gum disease evaluation
• Examination for tooth decay
• Examination of existing restorations
• TMJ evaluation
