Single Visit Porcelain Crowns

Imagine crowns, while you wait instead of temporary crowns or waiting weeks for your crown to come back from the lab. With today's technology, it's now a reality.

At New England Dental Visions, we use the CEREC 3 System that allows us to design and mill the crown on premises, while you wait. After the preparation of your tooth is completed, an optical impression of your tooth is taken with a special camera. The images are then converted to a three dimensional image into the computer. Dr. Boulard then designs a new crown for your tooth using CAD/CAM based technology. Once the design of the crown is completed, it is sent to the milling machine for fabrication. It typically takes 15 minutes for the milling process to complete your crown. The crown is then inserted on your tooth, and permanently bonded into place. In one visit, you have a custom milled CEREC all porcelain crown that is high quality and exceptionally aesthetic.
