You can get the dental work that you need, or have always wanted, without all of the fear and discomfort that you have experienced in the past.
Every patient is different. Each patient has there own unique fears or anxiety. Dr. Boulard really spends the time with each patient to evaluate their own unique situation, and tailor their treatment accordingly. He has obtained extensive training through the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation program http://www.sedationcare.com, and became IV trained at the Albert Einstein Medical University. He is one of only a few dentists certified by the State of New Hampshire to provide true moderate conscious sedation, not just the reduction of anxiety (anxiolysis). This allows him to provide a wide range of services to treat each individual appropriately.
Dr. Boulard provides safe and effective techniques. They range from using laughing gas and relaxation pills for the mildly anxious (anxiolysis). For the moderately and severely anxious, he can provide comfortable care utilizing sedation medications provided orally as well as by IV. The techniques chosen are based on the level of anxiety, the time involved, and the level of sedation required. This is known as conscious sedation. The patient is still awake (not general anesthesia or unconscious), but becomes very relaxed and sedated, without remembering the experience.
Many anxious patients have experienced sedation care with Dr. Boulard. Amazingly, a good majority of them do not need sedation anymore for their dental work. Once they have experienced pleasant appointments, and trust that Dr. Boulard will not hurt them, they often state that they do not need sedation medications anymore.
Please, do not delay the care that you need any longer. Dr. Boulard is here to help you. Whether you are sedated or not, Dr. Boulard will treat you in a gentle and caring manner. It can all start by giving the office a call, and coming in. Often, this is the hardest step. When you come into the office for your first appointment, you will be able to discuss your particular situation with Dr. Boulard, and he will then explain what he can do for you.
